Take the emergency shifter located under the seat on the 420. While the atv is still running, manually shift it back in to neutral and shut it off. It should be reset once you turn it back on and re start. Thats how mine was until i replaced the sensor. Be sure to use dielectric grease on the sensor plug.. Jollibee indiana
