What I know about crush throughs: Two handed weapons of specific types can sometimes penetrate guard attempts when using the top vector attack. What I don't know about crush throughs, is which weapons this applies to.
Because both are generally infantry weapons, not designed for cavalry charges which a lance specifically is. I'd suggest you be prepared for a lot of "nerfs" like this as the devs go through and make things more varied and unique and less copy/paste jobs.
