Just an FYI, a pure strength build is still all about dodging. There is a misconception that strength builds are tanky. They aren't, often times they are less tanky than Dex builds because their weapons are so much heavier that they can't afford tanky armor. I run a pure str build level 33 and can 2 hand almost any sword/great hammer and still ... The top builds in Elden Ring are those that achieve a strong balance between core stats like Vigor, Mind, and Endurance and attributes such as Strength, Dexterity, … yes absolutely. So many great DEX weapons. Especially if you dabble in ARC too if opens up more doors. I started as STR/DEX but about halfway through respec’d to pure DEX. Dual-Weilding Margott’s Sword & Bloodhound Fang carried me through most of the game, mixing in a shield & +25 Longbow for situational advantages. .
