At this point my truck is barely a week old and is currently at the dealership and they are saying it is a bad...2009 - 2014 Ford F150 - Hill Descent Control Fault/ Service AdvanceTrac - About a month ago on my 13 F150 Screw FX4 I started seeing the warning pop up saying Hill Descent Control Fault and another one saying Service AdvanceTrac. After acknowledging both lights, the light for the traction control fault would come on....If you have a check engine light the code was like 2112 I think. 2015 - 2020 Ford F150 - Service Traction Control, 4WD, Hill Descent Control - This morning on the way to work, I was getting on the entrance ramp and half way on it, service 4wd, service traction control, service hill descent control, and reference manual/flashing wrench icon came ...The part that I don't understand, then, is that when I don't have it turned on, it is a "hill holder." There's a good grade on the road leading to my condo. When I stop at the stop sign, I can let my foot off the brake, and the truck will stay still until I hit the gas pedal. I guess the Hill Descent Control doesn't do that. No biggie, now I know..
