In my interview group of 15 at LECOM-B only 2 or 3 were from Florida, the rest were from all over. If you don't take the MCAT there are only a handful of medical schools you can apply to. Also, the AIS and MCAT minimums are to qualify for an interview. While officially they don't communicate between schools they do unofficially (at lest a few I know about).
