Preparation. Place the scooter at a flat, rigid surface to unfold easily. Remove any additional accessories on the scooter to help unfolding. 2. Tiller-Based Unfolding. To unfold Gotrax G3, G4, Eclipse, GMAX, GMAX Ultra and G Pro, follow these steps. You will start riding with one foot on the scooter and one on the ground. Use your ground foot to push off and at the same time, press the throttle to start moving forward. Braking and stopping. In order to brake, slow down, or come to a stop, you will want to first release the throttle. Next you will GENTLY start to engage the brake system.To do that, plug in the Gotrax and allow it to charge for 24 hours. You can check its progress by pressing either of its buttons and waiting 10 seconds until its current charge appears on screen. Once charged, press both buttons at once to switch modes from Charging Mode to Ride Mode.
